I saw the Netflix preview for this series and then I saw the book on a sale shelf at a book store, so I thought I’d give it a try … Florence, Sicily, love, food. And loss.

Well-written and touching and a great look at a tiny village in Sicily. 3.5 stars. If you love Italian cooking and Sicily you’ll be a little higher on the star scale. If you have lost someone dear to you, this may be therapeutic … or not.

After reading I listened to Brené Brown interview Tembi and her sister Attica. SO GOOD. The book went up in my estimation … 3.75 stars. Asking the big questions.

Now I need to watch the series. Hmmm. With or without hubby? That is the small question.
