For escapist Netflix this week we began the latest season of The Great British Baking Show … soothing intro music, wacky hosts, kind camaraderie, funny contestants. Which got me to remembering this book based on the reality baking show premise.

This has all the ingredients for a light murder mystery … one former baking star turned TV reality host, a remote location, a mansion, six home bakers, and a sprinkle of hidden grudges and passageways.

If you enjoy GBBS you’ll likely devour this as quickly as I did.
