Not sure, for reals, how Ann Patchett nailed it AGAIN.

This novel is mostly set just north of where I live in Michigan.

I got to indulge in this post-three-days-of-two-grand boys, on the porch, overlooking the expanse of Lake Michigan.

Summer at its best.

I loved the structure of the story, how it unfolded. I was 100% in for the ride. I laughed, I cried, I came away a better person.

Five stars. Shout out to bestie Bea for handing it to me after she bought and read.
