When the stars align: saw in NYTimes; 3×5 blurb review at Kramers Books in DC; AND it’s JANE AUSTEN related? That’s a LET’S GO.

It’s a big book about Mary, the middle Bennet sister. If one’s vision of Mary is from the BBC Pride & Prejudice version, it may be VERY HARD to imagine how one is going to be convinced to feel some fondness for her. It took almost half of this tome to get there, and reader, I did.

If one needs an escape back to a less chaotic world, this is a lovely, long interlude.

Regency era. Pride & Prejudice. Jane Austen fans may find this a 4 star as I did.
