Picturing the house in my own imagination was wonderful; and it would be wonderful to see a movie or mini-series (hello, Reese Witherspoon, Netflix, HBO, anyone?) to experience a visual of the house. The house beguiles, enchants, divides, enflames.
This cover art is maybe the best ever.
I loved this tale of sibling love. Read it in a couple of days. 5/5 stars.

Worth every single penny. It’s too hard to wait for Patchett books in softcover. The story is engrossing. The cover art is next level. Someone with an eye for the insta feed is paying attention.

It begs the question: did Ms. Patchett see the painting and then write the book, or did someone read the manuscript and produce the artwork?
